EPHE

EPHE is a semi random sequence generator. It has 7 adjustable parameters to guide it in generating a sequence. It can be tweaked to generate anything from a powerful bassline to a sparkly melody. 
When GENERATE is triggered, either externally or with the button, the position of the knobs are read and a new sequence is generated.

List of the different adjustable parameters:

1. Brightness: Choose musical mode from Ionian to Locrian (major to minor).
2. Strength: Increases the likelihood of a root note to occur and how long its gate is.
3. Duration: Sets the number of steps in the sequence from 1-16. If the knob is turned all the way to the right, EPHE will generate a new sequence at the end of every sequence, effectively making an infinite length, never repeating sequence.
4. Pluck: Sets the gate length. The longer the gate length, the more likely a slide (portamento) is to occur.
5. Flutter: Turn this knob to the left and the sequence will go from low to high in pitch. Turn it to the right and the sequence will go from high to low.
6. Sharpness: This knob sets the quantization of the notes used in the sequence. From right to left it goes; only perfect notes, pentatonic scale, diatonic scale, chromatic scale, quarter tone scale (24 note), and completely unquantized.
7. Depth: Sets the possible range of notes used in a sequence, from 1-4 octaves.
   

EPHE has its own internal clock (with output) where the speed can be adjusted, or can be clocked externally. 
If the cycle switch is up, the sequence will loop by itself. If it is down, it will require triggering, either externally or with the button.
